What size casket spray should I order?
The size of a casket spray depends on the type of service, the size of the casket, and personal preferences. Here’s a guide to help you decide on the right size:
1. Full Casket Spray:
- Size: Typically around 6 feet (72 inches) long.
- When to Use: Designed to cover the entire length of a closed casket, this is appropriate for traditional or larger services, especially when the casket remains closed throughout the ceremony. It is often chosen by immediate family members, such as spouses, children, or parents.
2. Half Casket Spray:
- Size: Generally around 3 to 4 feet (36-48 inches) long.
- When to Use: This type of spray is meant for open-casket services, as it is placed on the lower half of the casket, leaving the upper portion open for viewing. It’s also a common choice for cremation services where a smaller casket may be used.
3. Specialty Sizes:
- Small Casket Spray: Ideal for cremation urns or smaller caskets. Typically, these arrangements measure around 2 feet (24 inches) or less.
